Jacksonville Beach, FL (June 10, 2020) – Last night, one person was injured in a house fire that took place in Jacksonville Beach.

The fire started after 10:30 p.m. The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department was called to the scene at 300 1st Avenue North, where firefighters immediately found one person was trapped inside the home.

Firefighters went in and pulled the victim out of the house. The victim, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

No other people were injured in the fire and firefighters were able to extinguish it in a short period of time.

The investigation into the fire continues at this time.
