Jacksonville, FL (June 27, 2020) – An auto collision in Duval County resulted in injuries and delays, according to reports. At approximately 9:10 a.m., on June 27, the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 295.
Reports from police show that a collision occurred on the north side of the interstate near the Dames Point Bridge, for unknown reasons. The collision caused extensive delays through the area as all right lanes on the interstate were blocked. EMS provided medical treatment and transportation to local hospitals for victims injured in the accident. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
