Lakeside, FL (May 10, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident reported Saturday afternoon claimed one victim’s life.

At around 1:30 p.m., on May 9, authorities were called to the scene of a collision on Blanding Boulevard. Reports show that a bicyclist was traveling through the area of Blanding Boulevard and Suzanne Avenue when they were struck by a motor vehicle.

The bicyclist suffered fatal injuries in the crash. They were transported to a local hospital where authorities declared the cyclist deceased.

At this time, police are investigating.
