Jacksonville Beach, FL (January 31, 2020) – On Monday around 11:30 p.m., a teen was killed in a fatal crash that took place at the intersection of 11^th Avenue and 3^rd Street in Jacksonville Beach.

The teen, identified as Joseph Michael Girardot, was headed home from work at Winn-Dixie when a high-speed vehicle struck his car and killed him.

His vehicle, a Ford Focus, was allegedly forced from the road when a white Ford F-150 ran into it going at top speeds. The 28-year-old who struck him was also injured in the accident and hospitalized.

Police have confirmed that no charges were released as of yet. However, the police continue to investigate the collision.
