Orange Park, FL – Pedestrian Accident at Blanding and Blairmore Blvds

Orange Park, FL (February 20, 2020) – On Wednesday evening, February 19, a pedestrian accident took place around 7:30 p.m. at a local intersection in Orange Park.

The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that the collision took place when a truck was traveling southbound near the intersection of Blanding Boulevard and Blairmore Boulevard when the driver struck a pedestrian.

The driver of the truck stopped at the scene of the accident and started to render aid to the victim. They were then transported to Orange Park Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.

Two southbound lanes of traffic were closed down for a period of time.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
