Jacksonville, FL (June 1, 2020) – This morning, a car accident took place on a major roadway in Jacksonville that led to injuries.

According to police, the collision took place in the northbound lanes of I-295 close to the area of North Main Street when multiple vehicles collided in a chain-reaction crash. The accident took place around 10:30 a.m.

Paramedics were immediately dispatched to the scene of the collision, as numerous victims were reportedly injured. It is believed that one or more were transported to the hospital for treatment.

The roadway was blocked for a short period of time in the area.
