St. Augustine, FL (March 7, 2020) – Around 11:40 a.m. this morning in St. Augustine, police responded to the scene of a serious car accident with injuries on a major roadway.

According to police, the collision occurred at 1955 US-1 and led to a roadblock and extensive delays in the area. The southbound lanes of traffic were completely blocked for a period of time.

Paramedics and various other responders were present at the scene of the accident. They assisted those with injuries, though their current conditions are not known.

At this time, the investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
