Jacksonville, FL (May 18, 2020) – This morning before noon, numerous emergency responders were called to the scene of a car accident in Jacksonville.

The accident, according to authorities, took place in the westbound lanes of I-10 around the area of Cassat Avenue. Two or more vehicles allegedly collided on the highway.

The accident occurred around 11:30 a.m. and it took police some time to clear the roadway. Paramedics assisted those with injuries at the scene of the accident.

It is believed that two or more vehicles were moved from the roadway by wreckers.

Police are still trying to determine the cause of the accident. Their investigation continues.
