Jacksonville, FL – Identified: One Killed in Fatal Crash on I-10
Jacksonville, FL (January 7, 2020) – Yesterday afternoon, one person was killed in a fatal crash on I-10. The victim has now been identified by police.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the collision took place in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 around the area of Chaffee Road.
The victim was identified as 68-year-old Dennis James Walton, who was driving his 2018 Kia Soul in the right lane when it was involved in the accident. Police claim that a Jacksonville Sheriff’s vehicle was also involved in the same accident.
Walton was tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.
No further details regarding the accident have been released. Police continue to investigate.
