Jacksonville, FL (December 18, 2019) – Around 6 a.m. this morning, Jacksonville Police issued a traffic alert following a serious car crash on a local bridge.

According to police, the accident took place on the Henry H. Buckman Bridge in Jacksonville when multiple vehicles collided with one another. Lanes of traffic were blocked for several hours.

Multiple emergency responders were present at the scene of the accident including fire crews, local law enforcement, paramedics, and more. EMS crews assisted those with injuries, however, the extent of their injuries is not yet known.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
