Duval County, FL (July 29, 2020) – A collision involving motor vehicles resulted in delays and injuries on Wednesday. On the afternoon of July 29, patrol officers with the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles responded to the site of a collision on Interstate 295 West.

Reports provided by Florida Highway Patrol officers show that a collision occurred on the northbound side of Interstate 295 West near the Buckman Bridge. The crash blocked two center lanes of the roadway. Crews rushed to the site of the crash to clear debris from the roadway. At least one person involved in the crash was rendered aid and transported to a local hospital for further treatment of injuries. At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation by patrol officers with the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.
