St. Johns, FL (December 16, 2019) – Jacksonville Police responded to the scene of a car accident around 9 p.m. last night, December 15, that led to injuries.

According to police, the collision took place at the intersection of US-1 and Race Track Road in St. Johns. Multiple emergency responders were present at the scene of the accident.

Police claim that the accident was so severe that it closed all southbound lanes of traffic for a period of time. Paramedics and various other responders assisted those with injuries.

There were delays in the area for some time. Police continue to investigate the collision.
