Fernandina Beach, FL (July 1, 2020) – This morning, authorities in Fernandina Beach were dispatched to the scene of a car crash at an intersection.

According to authorities, the collision took place before 11:30 a.m. when two or more vehicles forcefully collided at the intersection of SR-200 and Pine Grove Place.

Numerous emergency responders were called to the scene of the accident, where they assisted those with injuries. The extent of the injuries is not yet known but it is believed that one or more victims were hospitalized.

The intersection was blocked for a period of time in the area.

No further details have been released but the investigation is currently ongoing.
