Jacksonville, FL – 1 Injured in Serious Car Accident on FL-228

Jacksonville, FL (March 15, 2020) – Around 2 p.m. yesterday, March 14, one person was seriously injured in a car accident on FL-228.

Jacksonville Police responded to the scene of the accident where they discovered that at least two vehicles collided with one another on the highway.

Emergency responders were called to the scene, as one person was trapped due to the severe accident. They were quickly extricated by fire crews.

The victim was hospitalized but their condition is not yet known.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
