Jacksonville, FL – Car Accident at St Johns Ave and Blanding Blvd
Jacksonville, FL (July 7, 2020) – Last afternoon, a car accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Jacksonville.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of the accident around 12:12 p.m. where crews found that two vehicles collided at the intersection of St. Johns Avenue and Blanding Boulevard.
Police confirmed that one person was trapped in their vehicle as a result of the collision. Fire crews had to work to free the victim. They were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, though their current condition is not yet known.
There were extensive delays in the area of the intersection for a period of time until police cleared the roadway.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
