The accident, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, took place in the southbound lanes of I-95 around the area of 8th Street.

Numerous emergency responders, including paramedics, were present at the scene of the accident. The extent of the injuries is not yet known at this time.

The road was quickly reopened in the area so that traffic could return as normal.
