Jacksonville, FL – Driver Killed in Fatal Crash in SB Lanes of I-95
Jacksonville, FL (April 27, 2020) – Around 2 a.m. this morning, authorities responded to the scene of a fatal crash that took place in the southbound lanes of I-95.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of the crash around the area of Pecan Park Road when a 2012 Toyota was traveling north when it collided head-on with a Freightliner Cascadia.
The driver of the Toyota died at the scene of the accident but the 38-year-old driver of the Cascadia was not harmed.
The roadway was closed down for approximately six hours in the area before the roadway was reopened.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
