Jacksonville, FL – Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-295 Near Old Kings Rd
Jacksonville, FL (May 30, 2020) – Around 6:15 a.m. this morning, the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle collision in Jacksonville.
The accident, according to police, involved multiple vehicles that collided in the northbound lanes of I-295 near the area of Old Kings Road for reasons that are not yet fully known.
Police have not yet confirmed just how many vehicles were involved in the collision but said that one of the vehicles flipped over in traffic. The flipped vehicle blocked the right lane of traffic and drivers were able to get by through the left lane.
Paramedics were present at the scene to assist those with injuries, though it is not known how many victims were hurt.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
