Jacksonville, FL – Serious Multi-Vehicle Collision on US-17
Jacksonville, FL (January 14, 2020) – Around 8:45 a.m. on January 13th, police responded to the scene of a serious multi-vehicle collision on US-17.
The accident, according to the Jacksonville Police Department, took place on US-17 in the area of Interstate-295. Police have not yet confirmed that caused the vehicles to collide with one another.
According to authorities, all northbound lanes of the roadway were blocked following the collision. There was a large emergency response including law enforcement officials, paramedics, and fire crews.
Injuries were reported but the extent of the injuries is not known at this time.
A police investigation into the cause of the accident continues at this time.
