St Augustine, FL – Injury Crash at Intersection of US-1 and Roehrs Rd
St. Augustine, FL (July 18, 2020) – Around 11:35 a.m. this morning, a car crash with injuries happened at an intersection in St. Augustine.
According to authorities, the accident occurred on US-1 in the southbound lanes at the intersection of Roehrs Road. Though the details leading up to the accident are not yet known, it is believed that two vehicles collided after they entered the intersection with one another.
Numerous responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident including police, fire crews, and paramedics. They assisted those with injuries, though the extent of the injuries is not yet known. It is believed that two or more parties were hospitalized as a result.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was closed but only for a short period of time as police cleared the scene. The damaged vehicles were quickly removed from the roadway.
Police continue their investigation into the accident at this time.
