Fleming Island, FL (March 20, 2020) – Around 1:45 p.m. this afternoon, Orange Park authorities responded to the scene of a serious car accident at a local intersection.
The accident, according to police, took place when two or more vehicles collided at the intersection of US-17 and Raggedy Point Road.
Police confirmed that the accident blocked northbound lanes of the roadway for a period of time, which caused extensive delays in the area.
Paramedics and various other emergency responders assisted those with injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
