Fleming Island, FL – Vehicle Collision with Injuries on US-17
Fleming Island, FL (November 29, 2019) – This afternoon, November 29, Clay County authorities and other emergency services responded to the scene of a vehicle collision.
The accident, according to deputies on Fleming Island, took place on US-17 just south of Creighton Road. Two left lanes of traffic were blocked due to the multi-vehicle collision with injuries.
Various emergency response vehicles were present at the scene including police, fire crews, and paramedics. Paramedics assisted those with injuries, though the full extent of their injuries is not yet known.
There were extensive delays on the highway due to the collision but police have since cleared the scene.
The accident investigation remains ongoing.
