Jacksonville, FL (June 12, 2020) – Around 10 a.m. this morning, police responded to the scene of a car crash on a major highway.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of the accident, which involved numerous vehicles in the southbound lanes of I-295 near San Jose Boulevard. The vehicles involved were badly damaged.

Emergency responders including fire crews and paramedics were present at the scene of the accident. They assisted those with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.

Victims were injured as a result of the accident. It is not known how many were hospitalized as a result.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
