Callahan, FL (July 28, 2020) – Around 2 p.m. this afternoon, injuries were reported following a car crash at an intersection in Callahan.

Though few details have been released regarding the circumstances of the collision, it is believed that two vehicles collided at the intersection of Florida A1A and Zwiefel Road. The two vehicles allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with one another.

Numerous emergency responders were present at the scene of the accident including paramedics and fire crews. EMS crews assisted those with injuries, though the extent of the injuries is not yet known. It is believed that all injured parties were hospitalized.

The inside lane of traffic was blocked at the intersection for a period of time as police worked to clear the roadway.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
