Hampton, FL – Man Killed in Fatal House Fire on US-301
Hampton, FL (March 17, 2020) – Around 9 p.m. last night, March 16, one person was killed in a house fire that took place on US-301 in Hampton.
The Bradford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of the accident, where they found that a house was entirely engulfed in flames.
Police confirmed that fire crews attempted to enter the home but the flames were too strong.
When crews were finally able to enter the home, they found a 57-year-old identified as Leonard Blakely, who passed away at the scene of the accident.
The investigation into the fire remains ongoing.
