Jacksonville, FL (November 4, 2019) – Around 5:30 a.m. this morning, Jacksonville Police responded to the scene of a car accident on FL-9 that caused injuries to multiple parties.

The crash occurred in the southbound lanes of FL-9, which is also referred to as I-95 in that specific area of Jacksonville. The crash blocked the left lane of traffic.

Police confirmed that there were extensive delays in the area for several hours and worked to clear the scene so that traffic could move as normal around rush hour.

Paramedics and other emergency services were present at the scene and assisting those with injuries. Unfortunately, we have not confirmed the extent of the injuries or how many were injured at this time.

No further information has been given. At this time, the investigation is ongoing.
