Elkton, FL (April 5, 2020) – Around noon today, authorities responded to the scene of a car accident with injuries at an intersection in Elkton.

Though few details have been provided regarding the accident, police have confirmed that the collision took place at the intersection of SR-207 and Vermont Boulevard in Elkton.

Due to the severity of the accident, the turning lane was completely blocked at the intersection. Police confirmed that at least two vehicles were involved in the collision and received severe damages due to the accident.

Paramedics were present at the scene and confirmed that there were injuries in the accident. It is not known if the victims required hospitalization.

At this time, the investigation into the accident continues.
