Fleming Island, FL – Car Accident at US-17 and Harbor Island Dr
Fleming Island, FL (June 9, 2020) – Around 10:50 a.m. this morning, a car accident with injuries took place at a Fleming Island intersection.
The accident, according to authorities, took place at the intersection of US-17 and Harbor Island Drive when two vehicles collided with one another for unknown reasons.
The vehicles involved were extensively damaged and injuries were reported in the involved parties. The extent of the injuries is not yet known.
The left lane of traffic was blocked for some time following the collision. This led to extensive delays in the area.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues at this time.
