St. Johns, FL – Car Accident in SB Lanes of I-95

St. Johns, FL (March 6, 2020) – This morning around 6 a.m. when rush hour was backing up the roadways, a car accident with injuries took place on a major St. Johns highway.

According to police, the collision took place in the southbound lanes of I-95 around the area of SR-206. Both shoulders of the roadway were blocked.

Various emergency responders were present at the scene of the accident including paramedics, fire crews, and local law enforcement officials. They assisted those with injuries, though the extent of the injuries is not known.

The roadway was blocked for a short period of time. However, the police had the scene cleared quickly. Their investigation into the accident continues.
