Interlachen, FL – Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident at Fowler St and Guy Ave
Interlachen, FL (May 16, 2020) – Around 9:33 p.m. last night, May 15, Florida Highway Patrol assisted at the scene of a hit-and-run pedestrian accident in Interlachen.
Police came across an unidentified pedestrian at the intersection of Fowler Street and Guy Avenue last night. They have since determined that a green Dodge Durango was traveling west on Fowler and struck the pedestrian, then fleeing the scene without stopping.
Officers were able to determine that a passenger-side mirror left at the scene came from the vehicle that struck the victim.
The pedestrian was immediately taken to a local hospital in critical condition but their status is not yet known.
The investigation into the accident continues.
