Jacksonville, FL – Police Cruiser Involved in Car Crash on Monument Rd

Jacksonville, FL (December 26, 2019) – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a car crash that took place at a Jacksonville intersection.

The accident happened when an officer was driving in his cruiser headed southbound on Monument Road when the driver of a Honda CR-V made a turn in front of the officer at the intersection with Regency Square Boulevard.

The driver of the CR-V was hospitalized with minor injuries and the officer was treated at the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
