Jacksonville, FL (April 28, 2020) – Around midnight on April 27, police responded to the scene of a car accident that took place in Jacksonville.

The overnight accident took place when two or more vehicles collided with each other in the westbound lanes of I-10 close to the FL-301 area.

Fire crews and paramedics were quickly dispatched to the scene of the collision. There, they discovered that one victim was trapped inside one of the vehicles. They had to be extricated and were seriously injured, so the victim was taken to a local hospital. The conditions of those involved are not yet known.

No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
