Fernandina Beach, FL (March 7, 2020) – Around 11:30 a.m. this morning, a serious car accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Fernandina Beach.

According to authorities, the collision occurred when two vehicles collided forcefully at the intersection of South Fletcher Avenue and Amelia Island Parkway.

Police confirmed that there was a roadblock for a period of time. Police worked to clear the scene while paramedics helped victims with injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision at this time.
