Jacksonville, FL – Fatal Collision at New Kings Rd and Dunn Ave
Jacksonville, FL (January 9, 2020) – Last night, emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of a serious fatal collision at a Jacksonville intersection.
According to authorities, the collision took place at the intersection of New Kings Road and Dunn Avenue in Jacksonville. The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department was dispatched to the scene where they located one person who was trapped inside the vehicle.
Police have since confirmed that one person was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and one was taken to the hospital with injuries.
It has since been discovered that the driver had a medical emergency and lost control of the vehicle, causing them to drive into the other lane of traffic where they crashed near the Trout River.
No other details have been provided but the investigation is currently ongoing.
