Jacksonville, FL (November 11, 2019) – Around 9 a.m. this morning, police and other responders were dispatched to the scene of a multi-vehicle accident on FL-9A.

The accident, according to police, took place in the southbound lanes of the highway and completely blocked the left lane of traffic. Police did not comment on the circumstances surrounding the collision but have said that multiple vehicles were badly damaged at the scene.

Paramedics assisted multiple parties at the scene but the extent of their injuries is not known. Their identities have not yet been released.

No other details have been released but the investigation into the circumstances of the collision is ongoing.
