Jacksonville, FL – Pedestrian Accident with Injuries on Western Way

Jacksonville, FL (January 19, 2020) – Around 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 18th, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a serious pedestrian accident.

According to authorities, the collision took place on Western Way on the Southside of Jacksonville. Officers confirmed that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital but their injuries were not considered to be life-threatening.

Police blocked off both lanes of traffic in the area. The investigation is currently ongoing.
