Jacksonville, FL (April 8, 2020) – Around 7 p.m. on the evening of April 6, police were called to the scene of a fatal accident near a highway in Jacksonville.

Police and other emergency responders were called to the scene of the accident, which took place on 8th Street near the area of I-95 at the exit ramp. It is believed that at least two vehicles collided with each other.

One patient was taken to the hospital with serious injuries while one other person was tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

There were extensive delays in the area for a period of time.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
