Jacksonville, FL (April 18, 2020) – Around 8:40 p.m. last night, April 17, a fatal rollover accident took place on a major roadway in Jacksonville.

According to police, the accident took place in the northbound lanes of I-295 around the area of Pritchard Road. A vehicle rolled over multiple times for reasons that are not yet known.

Police confirmed that one person was ejected from the vehicle. The victim was tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

There were extensive delays in the area of the accident for several hours.

At this time, the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
