Hamilton County, FL – Injury Accident Reported on I-75 North
Hamilton County, FL (July 29, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Wednesday resulted in delays and injuries, according to local news sources. During the afternoon hours on July 29, patrol officers with the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles responded to the site of a motor vehicle collision on Interstate 75 North.
Reports provided by the Florida Highway Patrol officers indicate that a collision occurred on the northbound side of Interstate 75 near mile marker 466. The crash resulted in a blockage of the left lanes of the highway. Crews reported to the site of the collision and immediately secured the area. Firefighters and police worked to clear debris from the roadway as medical personnel provided treatment to injured victims at the scene. An unknown number of victims were transported to area hospitals for further treatment of injuries.
The incident remains under investigation at this time.
