Bunnell, FL – Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident on FL-100
Bunnell, FL (February 28, 2020) – On Thursday afternoon, February 27, one person was killed in a fatal hit-and-run accident on FL-100 in Bunnell.
Flagler County deputies have made an arrest following the accident. Police confirmed that 33-year-old Joshua Carver was traveling in the westbound lane in his vehicle while a pedestrian was walking westbound alongside the road.
Carver suddenly veered onto the shoulder, striking the pedestrian for reasons that are not yet known. He then continued driving westbound where deputies then found him in his vehicle.
Carver was charged with leaving the scene of a crime resulting in death.
Police confirmed that the pedestrian was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene. Their identity has not been released.
The investigation into the collision continues.
