Jacksonville, FL (March 5, 2020) – Around 8:30 a.m. this morning, a serious car accident with injuries took place in the northbound lanes of I-295.

Jacksonville Police responded to the scene of the accident, which took place near the area of Beaver Street.

Police did not comment on the exact circumstances leading up to the accident but it is believed that it involved at least two or more vehicles.

Paramedics assisted those with injuries but the extent of the injuries is not fully known at this time.

Police continue to investigate the accident in full.
