Jacksonville, FL – Accident on I-95 (FL-9) Results in Delays
Jacksonville, FL (July 29, 2020) – An automobile accident reported in Duval County left at least one person injured while causing extensive delays throughout the area. On July 29, patrol officers with the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision on Interstate 95.
Reports provided by the Florida Highway Patrol officers show that a crash occurred on the southbound side of the interstate just before Myrtle Street (Iron Bridge). The crash resulted in a complete block to the right lanes of the southbound side of the highway, causing drastic delays through the area. Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene of the crash to provide medical treatment to victims injured in the accident. An unknown number of victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment of injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
