Jacksonville, FL (June 30, 2020) – Around 11:15 a.m. this morning, a multi-vehicle car accident took place on a highway in Jacksonville.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the accident took place when multiple vehicles collided with one another in the westbound lanes of I-10. The crash took place near the Hammond Boulevard area and led to extensive damages to the vehicles involved.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the collision. They assisted those with injuries.

The roadway was quickly reopened by the police.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
