Hastings, FL – 1 Killed in Fatal Collision on County Rd 13
Hastings, FL (January 11, 2020) – According to authorities, one person was killed and two were injured in a fatal collision on County Road 13 in Hastings.
The accident occurred last night at around 9 p.m., January 10. Two cars were traveling in opposite directions on the roadway when one vehicle crossed over the yellow line, causing their vehicles to collide head-on.
The car that drifted out of its lane caught on fire following the collision, which caused one person to lose their life.
The two people in the other vehicle had bad injuries and were immediately transported to area hospitals for treatment.
A portion of the roadway was shut down for several hours due to the collision. Police continue to investigate.
