Jacksonville, FL – Car Accident on I-295 Around Alta Dr

Jacksonville, FL (December 30, 2019) – Around 10 a.m. this morning, police responded to the scene of a car accident on I-295 that led to injuries in one or more victims.

The accident took place in the northbound lanes of the roadway near the area of Alta Drive in Jacksonville. There were delays due to the accident but the lanes remained open.

Paramedics and other responders were called to the scene to assist those with injuries. The extent of their injuries is not yet known.

No further details have been released but police continue to investigate at this time.
