Jacksonville, FL (May 31, 2020) – Around 7 a.m. this morning, Duval County authorities responded to the scene of a car accident in Jacksonville.

The accident, according to authorities, took place in the westbound lanes of I-295 around the area of Dunn Avenue. Police confirmed that multiple vehicles collided with one another for unknown reasons.

Injuries were reported as a result of the collision. The injured victims were transported to the hospital with a variety of injuries.

The right lane of traffic was blocked for a period of time until police cleared the scene.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
