Elkton, FL – One Person Killed in FL-207 Collision
Elkton, FL (January 29, 2020) – Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal collision on Wednesday. At around 11 a.m., on January 29, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident.
Reports indicate that a small vehicle was attempting to make a turn off Florida Highway 207 near Deerpark Boulevard when it was struck by a semi-truck.
The impact of the collision caused the small vehicle to roll over up onto its side.
Sadly, one victim inside the vehicle had to be extricated and rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
A second victim was declared deceased at the scene.
At this time, police are investigating.
