Jacksonville, FL (May 2, 2020) – This morning around 10:30 a.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of a multi-vehicle collision on a major highway.

According to police, the collision took place in the southbound lanes of I-95 in Jacksonville and involved several vehicles.

Injuries were allegedly reported in approximately one or two victims. EMS crews were present at the scene and offered assistance to those with injuries. The conditions of those involved are not yet known.

All lanes of traffic were blocked in the southbound lanes for an extended period of time but police quickly worked to clear the roadway.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
