Satsuma, FL – Fatal Collision at US-17 and Buffalo Bluff Rd Intersection
Satsuma, FL (May 29, 2020) – Early this morning, police responded to the scene of a fatal collision that led to the loss of a loved one in Satsuma.
The accident took place around 7 a.m. at the intersection of US-17 and Buffalo Bluff Road when two vehicles collided with one another for reasons that are not yet known.
Paramedics were dispatched to the scene of the accident. One person was killed in the collision but it is not known if any other parties were hospitalized.
Due to the severity of the collision, northbound and southbound lanes of traffic were blocked for an extended period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
