St. Augustine, FL – Fatal Accident at A1A and State Road 206
St. Augustine, FL (December 26, 2019) – According to the Florida Highway Patrol, police responded to the scene of a fatal accident at the intersection of A1A and State Road 206.
The accident took place around 7 p.m. on Christmas night when a 63-year-old identified as John Walbrun was approaching the intersection and collided with a Subaru Outback for reasons that are not yet known. Allegedly, the Outback turned into his path.
There was a 19-year-old driving the Outback with a 15-year-old as the passenger. They were not injured in the accident.
FHP continues to investigate and said that charges are currently pending.
No other details have been provided but the investigation continues.
